Liminal Distortion
Liminality refers to the transitional phase of a rite of passage during which the individual lacks a defined social status. Transitional spaces - tunnels, transport, and bridges, visualise the threshold of movement.
I glitched these images through various corruption processes; editing and changing the file data, converting to audio files and bringing it into music editing software then back to images, using magnets, or damaging the camera lens itself
