People often think of photography as a transparent frame on the world, capturing the actuality in front of the camera lens. In "The Unknown" I seek to capture the symbolic, enhanced by digital doodles. Using Infrared film that translates the natural landscape into pinks, blues and haunting whites I create images that, while being grounded in reality, feel other-wordly.
**Digital is not the intended presentation context of this work. It is presented as a print work where the image is printed on clear photo-paper and hung 3cm in front the image printed on gloss photo-paper to create a three-dimensional holographic effect.**
